Awarded supplier to NEUPC’s floor coverings framework agreement - Lot 1

Altro are delighted to be awarded a supplier to NEUPC’s Floor Coverings framework agreement - Lot 1. This is the first time that the Higher Education Sector has collaborated on a framework that covers both supply only and supply, fit and maintenance. The framework provides members with a trustworthy procurement route. Altro provide a wide selection of floor solutions that can be used in all areas of education environments, including specialist safety solutions for areas with a high slip risk, including bathrooms and kitchens. The approved floors include Altro Stronghold, Altro Cantata and Altro Aquarius which are recommended for use throughout education environments together with Altro flooring accessories.

The agreement, which is led by the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium, (NEUPC), bringing it together with Higher Education Purchasing Consortium Wales (HEPCW), London Universities Purchasing Consortium(LUPC) North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) and Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) , each representing further and higher education institutions from their respective regions.

North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium Ltd (NEUPC) is one of six UK Higher Education purchasing consortia. The consortia were established to deliver and manage a wide range of collaborative framework agreements designed to maximise third party expenditure within the higher education sector.

NEUPC is a member of UK Universities Procurement Consortia (UKUPC) – a body dedicated to improving both the quality of procurement and the level of collaborative procurement across the HE sector. Utilising a partnering approach NEUPC provides collaborative procurement expertise, guidance and agreements that are aligned to, and actively support members’ needs, values and objectives.

The agreement runs from 8 September 2020 until 07 September 2024 and Altro are listed under the newest agreement, Floor Coverings, in the furniture category. The agreement covers all Altro vinyl flooring including:
