Altro recognised with ProCure22 Award

ProCure22 Awards Announced for 2020

Capital and operational cost efficiencies totalling £14.9m for NHS clients through the ProCure22 Standard Components initiative announce the winners for 2020.

This year’s awards were handed out remotely by Cliff Jones, Head of Construction Procurement NHS Estates and Facilities and Sarah Ricketts, BAM Construction and chair of the working group, who commented:“The efficiency programme continues to grow and goes from strength to strength. It’s a pleasure to work with such an enthusiastic and dedicated supply chain, supporting our NHS clients to gain capital cost savings as well as benefits such as innovation, extended warranties and product design.”

Simon Corben, Director and Head of Profession, NHS Estates and Facilities of NHS England and NHS Improvement, Commercial Directorate added:“I have been overwhelmed by the spirit and community of the P22 supply chain, the can do attitude that they have adopted be it in improving performance or delivering the Nightingale programme, is unrivalled. Many congratulations to our award winners”

Altro Ltd were recognised for their collaboration and outstanding support to deliver the Nightingale Hospitals.

“Within these difficult times, we rely on organisations and people to pull together. Earlier this year it was an honour and a pleasure for Altro Ltd to help and support BAM Construction with two major Nightingale Hospital projects - Harrogate Conference Centre and Exeter. Altro manufactured and supplied large quantities of adhesive-free flooring, plus other products within our portfolio, at extremely short notice. Working alongside BAM Construction, a valued supply chain partner, it was very pleasing to see the fantastic achievement from all involved.“
