Altro Host Pawlyn Address At Olympic Venue

Yesterday Altro held a successful event at the home of Team GB this summer, at One Stratford Place, London. We welcomed more than 160 customers including architects, designers, contractors and distributors for a champagne and canapé lunch. As part of the event, delegates were welcomed by Altro Chief Executive Richard Kahn and also enjoyed a keynote address from Michael Pawlyn.

Michael was one of the lead architects behind the Eden Project in Cornwall. Treating nature as a blueprint, he believes there are huge gains to be made by learning how the natural world works – especially in the effort to slow down the effects of climate change. Guests also had the opportunity to have a tour of Team GB house, which is the base of the Team GB athletes this summer.
