The Story So Far...

Our Voice of the Customer programme has been a key instigator of a number of changes at Altro in recent years.  Below is just a selection of actions we have taken following your feedback.

You encouraged us to partner with you on new product development.
We have partnered with a number of customers for our Altro Timbersafe II, Altro XpressLay, new Altro Walkway 20 and Altro Suprema II products.

You asked if we could provide a better delivery frequency to certain parts of the country.
We have arranged special delivery agreements with a number of customers.

You asked if we could stop all our paperwork looking the same.
We now mark all our documentation with a watermark clearly stating the type of document.

You told us that we needed to supply our wood-effect safety floor in the industry standard 2m width.
We launched Altro Timbersafe II in 2m widths in January 2011.

You advised us that our Altro Walkway 20 price was too high.
We took action and lowered the price.

You said that you valued our Installation Recognition Awards that we used to promote eight years ago.
We reinstated the awards in 2010.

You told us that our colours were not what the market was demanding. In particular, we needed a selection of vibrant colours to complement the more neutral tones we already have.
We have relaunched a number of our products with improved colour ranges; Altro Suprema II now has 40 colour options, more than any other safety flooring range currently available.

You said that you found it frustrating to deal with so many Altro Sales Representatives.
We have restructured the business to amalgamate our Floors and Walls Sales Teams into one.

You asked us to provide you with emailed order acknowledgements.
We now provide this service.

You said that our sales promotions should make sure that everyone could be thanked for the business they did with Altro.
We have instigated regular cash back and prize promotions.

You said we need to consider site conditions and the focus on value engineering and cost savings.
We designed the award winning Altro XpressLay specifically for flooring contractors.

You said that our old website was not as good as it could be.
We have updated it and hope you find this website much easier to use.  We will continue to develop it on an ongoing basis, adding more information and resources to make your job easier.

 

You told us that one of our clear coat products was ‘a right pain in the arse to weld’.
We have modified the formula for Altro Suprema II and it is now as easy to weld as Altro Walkway.
