Awarded for: Consultative approach to client and specification, resulting in a creative, high design, technical installation.

Reigate and Banstead Borough Council had initially approached a flooring manufacturer to supply and match flooring to the building's existing design, which consisted of a series of circles within circles. Andy Baker of CWC Flooring, strongly opposed the original specification when contacted by the council, as not being fit for purpose. Being a public building, a safety floor was essential which the council finally agreed should be specified.

CWC installed a floating floor to accommodate any potential movement within the building. The Altro Everlay underlayment was installed in conjunction with Altro Suprema. The result is a stunning, safe and practical floor.
