Bosses at the National Epilepsy Centre needed a multi-surface solution, which combined safety with style. Interior surfaces specialist Altro provided a selection of their products, namely their unique Whiterock Illusions for the walls and the popular Marine safety floor.
Both products were installed in various places at the centre from wet areas to recreational rooms. Altro Whiterock Illusions is an extruded sheet with a translucent outer layer, exclusive to Altro, and the Altro Marine, now available in a refreshing colour palette, is specifically designed for safety with wet, bare-feet or soft-soled footwear.
As the centre caters for people of all ages, it was important that both the wall cladding and flooring was appealing to a wide age group as well as satisfying the safety needs of staff and those attending the centre.
