Important changes to the safe use of products containing diisocyanates
From 24 August 2023 professional users of products containing diisocyanates, are required by law to carry out mandatory training to allow the continued safe use of these products.
ISOPA and ALIPA, the trade associations for the industry, have created a very useful website [Safe use of Diisocyanates - Home EN] where you can find all of the details relating to the changes, and information on how to find a training course.

Altro Seal is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and UV light and can also be used as a final seal coat to give extra chemical resistance to epoxy resin systems. It has approximately 90 microns per coat and is available in coloured and clear.
For areas where there is an increased risk of slipping we have a slip-resistant variant which includes a micaceous mineral that lightly textures the surface.

In general, flooring will follow the profile of the underlying substrate. The surface profile may be reflected in thinner resin flooring types. This will affect the appearance and wear. (FeRFA types 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5)
The samples we send are to demonstrate colour and finish only. and may not be the thickness noted above. If you require a specific sample, please contact us.
Altro Seal is also available in clear.
Safety Red, Safety Yellow and Black are intended for line marking and small areas of demarcation only. Dark colours, in particular Black, will highlight any defects such as roller lines and scratches.
For safety colours, light or vibrant coloured coatings, a white undercoat should be used and additional coats may be required.
Safety Red, Safety Yellow and White are not included in Altro resins standard colour range. Bespoke non-standard colours will be subject to additional lead time and possibly increased cost.
